Adam Foundation hosted a private interfaith Eid dinner bringing together leaders from across Britain’s faith communities for an evening centred on dialogue, respect and shared humanity.
The gathering included imams and rabbis, bishops and reverends, members of the House of Lords, philanthropists and leaders from across the faith community. Rather than a formal conference or panel, the dinner created space for honest conversation around one table.
The evening reflected a simple principle behind the Foundation’s approach to social cohesion: relationships are often strengthened when people have the opportunity to meet directly, listen carefully and discover what they share as well as where they differ.
Bringing people together across faith, politics and public life creates opportunities to build trust, deepen understanding and strengthen constructive engagement across communities.
Interfaith dialogue is one part of Adam Foundation’s wider commitment to building a confident and cohesive Britain in which people of different backgrounds can participate fully in civic life while remaining rooted in their own identities and traditions.
The dinner was a celebration of Eid, but also a practical expression of the Foundation’s belief that respectful dialogue and strong relationships can help strengthen the fabric of British society.
