Avicenna Foundation and UCL Partner to Expand Opportunities for Scholars

The Avicenna Foundation, the scholarship arm of Adam Foundation, has announced a new partnership with University College London (UCL) aimed at creating more opportunities for talented students to succeed in higher education and develop as the next generation of British leaders.

As part of the collaboration, UCL will provide support towards the tuition fees of undergraduate Avicenna Scholars joining the university as part of the 2026 and 2027 cohorts. This contribution will enable the Avicenna Foundation to extend its reach and support more talented students studying at UCL.

The partnership goes beyond financial support. Avicenna Scholars take part in a multi-year development programme alongside their university studies, with access to mentoring, leadership development, coaching, professional networks and opportunities designed to build confidence, broaden horizons and encourage meaningful contribution to British society.

The relationship with UCL represents an important step in the continued development of the Avicenna Foundation and reflects a shared commitment to recognising talent, expanding opportunity and helping young people develop their potential as future leaders.

Avicenna Foundation was established to develop future leaders by supporting young British Muslims throughout their undergraduate studies and creating opportunities for them to grow academically, professionally and personally.

The partnership also recognises the progress made by existing Avicenna Scholars studying at UCL and creates a platform through which the two organisations can continue working together to expand opportunity and support future cohorts.

Through Avicenna and its wider work, Adam Foundation is committed to investing in people with the potential to contribute positively to their communities, institutions and wider British society.
